Questions
Questions from Fort Shafter and AMR families
Can AMR families choose a network pelvic floor physical therapist?
On TRICARE Select, yes, directly. On TRICARE Prime, the PCM and the Hawaii Referral Center place the referral; asking for a network referral and naming EMS Therapy helps.
Does urogynecology refer to pelvic floor physical therapy?
Urogynecology often recommends pelvic floor physical therapy as a conservative first step. Ask for the referral to go to the TRICARE West network if video visits at home are preferred.
Is EMS Therapy in-network with TRICARE West?
Yes. Visits are by video anywhere in Hawaii, usually within a week.
How soon can I be seen?
Usually within a week. Early morning, evening and weekend video visits are available.
