Visits are one-on-one with Dr. Elana Shalem, PT, DPT, certified in obstetric physical therapy (CAPP-OB) and licensed in Hawaii. The first visit is a 60-minute video evaluation; follow-ups are 45 minutes, usually every one to two weeks, scheduled around duty hours.

Referral path

Getting from the PCM to a first visit.

Primary care is at Branch Health Clinic Kaneohe Bay, part of Naval Health Clinic Hawaii. Physical therapy at the branch clinic serves active-duty members, so spouses and children typically use TRICARE West network providers. On TRICARE Prime, ask the PCM for a pelvic floor physical therapy referral and name EMS Therapy; on TRICARE Select, book directly.
