The Villages

Why Villages patients choose video.

The Villages is one of the largest retirement communities in the country, and its residents stay busy. A pelvic floor problem gets in the way of all of it: leaking on the pickleball court, urgency on the golf course, getting up three times a night. Men are seen after prostate surgery, and anyone can be seen after a hip or knee replacement. Video visits come to the house.

One-on-one with Dr. Elana Shalem, PT, DPT (CAPP-OB), licensed in Florida: a 60-minute evaluation, then 45-minute follow-ups.
